Where are you located?
River Region Veterinary Services is conveniently located at 697 Old Farm Lane North in Prattville, just off of interstate 65. Our office is located behind the Sherwin Williams Paint Center on Hwy 14 as you turn onto Old Farm Lane off Hwy 14. If you have any trouble locating us, please call 334-361-8900 for help.
What are your hours? Do you take walk-ins?
Our office is open Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm. We see patients by appointment only but can often accommodate immediate needs or find an appointment opening if you call us at 334-361-8900 before heading our way.
Do you offer payment plans?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer payment plans. We encourage clients with financial worries to apply for Care Credit or Scratch Pay.
How do I schedule an appointment?

What do I do if I have an emergency?

If your pet has an emergency need outside of our regular office hours, please contact Carriage Hills Animal Hospital at 334-277-2867. They are fully staffed to handle all emergencies 24/7 at 3200 Eastern Blvd in Montgomery, This is the hospital that Dr. Myers refers patients who need advanced surgery or intensive, around the clock care. We trust them to treat our pets, so we trust them to treat yours.

Do you treat birds, reptiles or large animals?
We do not treat birds, reptiles or large animals. Our office is a small animal veterinary practice specializing in dogs and cats.
What brand of pet food do you recommend?
River Region Veterinary Services recommends you feed your pets a high-quality diet. We suggest Hills, Purina, Iams/Eukanuba and Royal Canin. These companies are the only pet food companies we know of that comply with all recommendations set by the WSAVA (World Small Animal Veterinary Association).
Do you offer boarding? What are your requirements?

We do offer boarding services for your family dogs and cats. All dogs must be current on Rabies, DHPP, Lepto, Bordetella and Influenza vaccinations and have a current negative intestinal parasite screening. They must be current on heartworm prevention and a flea adulticide. All cats must be current on Rabies and CRP vaccinations as well as a flea adulticide.
